The WordPress plugin reports AI crawler visits and arrivals from AI assistants to your project. It takes about two minutes, and once it’s installed it keeps itself up to date. You’ll need to be an organization admin in Growth Mention, and able to install plugins on your WordPress site.

Create an ingest key

In your project, open Agent analytics → Integration. Under Ingest keys, give the key a name — the site it’s for, like Main site — and click Create key.
Copy the key now. It’s shown only once — it’s stored in a form that can’t be displayed again. If you lose it, create a new one.

Download the plugin

On the same page, click Download for WordPress. You’ll get a .zip file — don’t unzip it.

Install it

In your WordPress admin, go to Plugins → Add New → Upload Plugin, choose the file, and click Install Now. Then Activate it.

Paste in your key

Go to Settings → Agent Analytics in WordPress and paste the key you copied.

Check it's working

Back on the Integration page, your key shows last report with a time once the plugin has sent its first visits. Until then it says never used yet.AI crawlers visit on their own schedule, so the first report can take anything from minutes to a few hours on a quiet site.

What to report

Settings → Agent Analytics → What to report lets you choose how much the plugin sends:

One key per site

Create a separate key for each site that reports to the project. You’ll see each one’s last report on its own, and you can switch one site off without touching the others.

Revoking a key

Revoke a key on the Integration page to stop that site reporting immediately. Visits it already sent stay in your project. To reconnect the site, create a new key and paste it into the plugin.
